Björn Bernström
Swedish Watercolor Artist
Watercolor artist Björn Bernström was born in Hultsfred in 1966 and moved to Stockholm in 1986. He studied art at Ölands Skogsby between 1994-1995 and etching/engraving between 1993-1994 at Stockholms Folkuniversitet. He is a member of the Nordic Watercolour Association, The Swedish Artists' National Organization, the art network Konstringen Mälaröarna and the visual artist association Svenska Konstnärer.
Björn have had a number of exhibitions through the years. One-man-shows and collective watercolor exhibitions such as the yearly watercolor exhibition at Väsby Art Hall in Stockholm (2007,2008,2009, 2010), international watercolor exhibitions in Serbia, Norway, Iceland. In 2008 he was invited to participate as a watercolor instructor at Scandinavias biggest watercolor workshop at the Galleria Art Festival in Norway. He also organize his own watercolor workshops.
